There is no longer a ‘Make Unique’ option in the list. So, I XX-clicked the entire group to edit, then XX-clicked the single Horse, then R-clicked it.

Indeed I can still do it for some, but some are coming in as unique. One of the Horse components needs a unique saddle. I have always been able to drag the original component into a drawing regardless of how many unique copies I have. Then select all the unique textures > r-click > Combine Textures. R-click on each textured face > Make Unique Texture. I understand when you make a component unique it will assign it the next number available, what I am not understanding is why when I try to drag the original component into a drawing SU automatically makes it unique.
